Renewal Requirements

This complete package includes all 90 hours of post-licensing required for removal of the provisional license status. All three post-licensing courses must be completed within 18 months of initial licensure to retain eligibility to engage in real estate brokerage. The NC Real Estate Commission requires students to complete post-licensing courses within 180 days of purchase. Students purchasing this package must complete all three post-licensing courses within 180 days from the date the package is purchased. We are not permitted to grant extensions beyond this timeframe.

You've worked hard to earn your license. Now that you've had some time in the saddle, your post-licensing education helps to ensure you'll be practicing at the top of your field.

The Post 301 - Broker Relationships and Responsibilities course is one of the three 30-classroom hour courses in the North Carolina mandatory post-licensing education program that must be completed within 18 months after initial licensure to remain eligible for active license status. Post 301, Post 302, and Post 303 may be taken in any order, but the North Carolina Real Estate Commission recommends taking them in their numerical order.

  • Agency relationships in residential and commercial sales
  • Commercial property management transactions
  • A broker’s legal duties to clients and customers
  • Responsibilities when working with sellers and buyers
  • License status and education issues
  • Issues associated with transactions in progress when a broker leaves a firm

North Carolina 30-Hour Post 302 Contracts and Closing

The Post 302 - Contracts and Closing course is one of the three 30-classroom hour courses in the North Carolina mandatory post-licensing education program that must be completed within 18 months after initial licensure to remain eligible for active license status. Post 301, Post 302, and Post 303 may be taken in any order, but the North Carolina Real Estate Commission recommends taking them in their numerical order.

Post 301, Post 302, and Post 303 may be taken in any order, but the North Carolina Real Estate Commission recommends taking them in their numerical order.

Post Licensing Course Credit: Post-licensing course credit is only awarded to individuals who are licensed when they enroll in the courses. Credit will not be issued if courses are purchased before your Provisional Brokers license has been issued. Provisional Brokers must complete all 3 post licensing courses within 18 months of initial licensure to retain eligibility to actively engage in real estate brokerage.
